taking care: brain injury stories (2024)

“taking care: brain injury stories” is a responsive wearable art project based on interviews with three arts workers with brain injuries, and the artist themselves, namely, Carmel Farahbakhsh (community educator and musician based in Halifax), Patricia Ritacca (curator and educator based in Toronto), Katie Kotler (interdisciplinary artist based in New York) and Camila Salcedo (interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto). These wearable pieces are aimed at addressing not only their physical needs, but responding to their personal style.
