This program was a series of four Textile Upcycling workshops during the month of May 2023 with 10 immigrant youth between 14-18 years-old at the Oakwood Village Library and Arts Centre and funded by Art Starts. The series focused on wearable art making skills through thrifting and upcycling clothing based on their own designs.

"I think the highlight of the program was having complete freedom in my own project and even though my original idea changed a lot, I would still consider myself successful as it was my first time doing this."
